Located near Dake Onsen, Tamakawaya serves traditional Japanese sweets.
We sell Dake Onsen specialty "Kuroganeyaki"
By the way, the name "Kuroganeyaki" refers to small mountain hut near Mt. Adatara that has a small black bell in it.
The tradition goes a long way back, and the castella-like dough is filled with smooth bean paste.
We gave these sweet delights to royal visitor Takamatsu Miya in 1955 and 1957 when he came here to Dake on a ski trip.
