You can taste "Awa Manju" at Michi No Eki main store, Iwaiya. Awa Manju is in some way connected with three of Japan's national treasures: Enzo Temple, Fukumitsuman 3 Kokuzo-sans.
Over four generations we have offered our patrons a taste representative of Aizu that never changes because they love it just the way it is.
"As a guard against disasters (awa)" carefully made koshian bean paste is wrapped the bright yellow skin with the texture of glutinous rice and millet (awa), and steamed.
