Horieya Ryokan was built in Meiji 15 (1882), and has been in operation in the original structure ever since. Built without the use of nails, on the day of the earthquake not one rice bowl was broken at the Horieya Inn. Although most of the building and its equipment date back to Meiji 15, all rooms are equipped with wireless LAN, and the internet is available to all guests. If they compare it with the modern era, guests might find it a little inconvenient but we will be happy if they have a same good experience they would have had in the Meiji period, and they will be able to add this experience to their most important memories.
We offer inexpensive accommodation for travelers on motorcycles or bicycles. Please add Fukushima to your travel agenda.
We are proud to have a bath using the same hot spring water as Sabako Yu, and wait for with special hospitality and a good meal.
