Zocalo design uses art and religious motifs cultivated over the long span of human history that have been changed to modern designs reflecting the day-to-day spirit of our own times.

Designer Koura Kazuaki

His father was a professor of physics, his mother taught piano, and he himself stopped education after middle school, yet passed his university entrance exams. While he was in the university, he backpacked all over the world gleaning a mass of experience and giving himself a very unique personal history. At Bigi Group he got his start in the fashion world, and after studying the business of fashion at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York, he worked as a merchandiser. He developed an interest in Mexican jewelry design and received training at Taxco.
