Nationally renowned performer and artist Kataoka Tsurutaro's collection is here in this art garden.
Tsurutaro one-man shows occupy one part, with the rest being used for his works depicting nature and fish in Nihonga and sumi paintings, folding screens, and ceramic work; 70 pieces in all.
Customers can be warm and relax as they view the unpretentious work of such a versatile individual.
There are works displayed in a tearoom, and when Tsurutaro is visiting, he uses his atelier where you are welcome to watch.
