In 1984, "Sato No Yu" was opened at Tsuchiyu Onsen as an inn-annex to "Hotel Tatsumiya" near Fukushima Station. The inn is located in Bandai-Asahi National park, and thus is surrounded by virgin forest where we can enjoy wild flowers and plants like peonies, primroses, rhododendrons etc. when they are in season. In addition, we make your meals with ingredients like wild plants and mountain wasabi from clear streams.
Each guest room is named after the tree outside that is visible from that room. From the room you can also feel the change of the seasons, and witness the abundance of nature around Sato No Yu.
In addition to the bath in each room, there are also open air baths, an old cypress bath tub, and old cypress semi-open air bath for the family that you can reserve; you can have an "at home" feeling as you bathe in all three places.
