It has been said that in the old days this was called Kami Yu, and was used for a long time as therapy for lacerations.
The current building was renovated in 1965, and is one of few original sources of hot spring water here.
Bath Ticket Fee:
Adults over 12 years old 200 yen
Children from one to under 12 years old 100 yen
The beneficial effects of the hot spring water are relief from neuralgia, muscle aches, joint pains, sports trauma, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive problems, poor circulation; recovery from illness and fatigue; and overall health improvement.
