Our Gyokuro stem tea uses the best green tea stems. Produced in Kyoto, along with Shizuoka sencha green tea and fukamushicha, they make a moderately blended, full-bodied tea. Since its inception, Jurakuen has developed a great reputation as representative of how great tea should taste.
We sell by weight, 100 grams from 1,050 yen (tax included.)

Tengyoku Tea
Our special blend of Shizuoka Sencha and Fukumushicha is plain, but has a deep, rich, and refreshing flavor, using an especially high quality sencha! Along with Gyokuro kukicha, Tengyoku is one of our two leading teas. Tengyoku is the same price by weight; 100 grams from 1,050 yen (tax incl.).

Genmaicha with macha added has gotten much feedback. Customers opined, "Genmaicha with powdered green tea added loses the green tea after the first time, so the second and third times it is not good." We then improved on it by twining the genmai and green tea together with crispy bits of rice inside so that the green tea slowly oozes out and you can enjoy two or three times.

Yasoju (jureicha)
Wild-grass tea of the finest quality! It is a healthful tea with a unique blend of 18 different wild grass and herbals for an aromatic finish. The teashop makes this tea with emphasis on health and creating a distinctive flavor.

Aloe Ju
Dried aloe leaves added to the above make this a health tea and highly recommended for a weak stomach, and as an aid to constipation. It is easy to prepare; just add hot water. In the summer time, served cold, it is so GOOD!
