During the Tenpo Era, on the top of the three mountains of Dewasanzan, during his great prayer pilgrimage, Manzo-sama discovered Anabara Hot Springs. At that time, he told Izumiya's owner Kurayoshi about it and dug out the spring near the Surikami River; and the soul of the spring poured out as the base of Anabara Onsen, or so the story goes.
The old legend has it that because of his discovery, Manzo received a promotion, and Izumiya's big bath was named Kongo No Yu.
In addition, Izumiya has a tradition of history and culture that suits it, and we can boast about our heartfelt care and seasonal cuisine.
Bountifully blessed with nature, we can offer natural taste for our guests to relish.
Please regale yourselves with Izumiya's seasonal tastes. We cordially wait for you.
