As you head down Hwy 115 toward Inawashiro from Fukushima Nishi Interchange, after about 25 minutes you will come to Hwy 459, and this Michi No Eki Road Station is at this crossroads.
This is a place where we disseminate all sorts of local information and provide a resting place for drivers heading for Dake Onsen-Nihonmatsu, or the Bandai-Azuma Skyline heading toward Inawashiro-Aizu Wakamatsu.
From the vantage point of this oasis on the plateau at an altitude of 800 meters you can easily view the Azuma Mountains in the background and the city of Fukushima.
The "information corner" is loaded with free brochures and is near the "cafe" and "shops" where you can look around for local souvenirs.
